When I woke up this morning, there was a blanket of snow on the ground! It should be time for flowers and warm weather not snow and freezing cold! At least it cleared up by the afternoon.
This afternoon, we went to the grocery store for mommy. On her list was Turkey Brats since she had a coupon. We looked for them and they didn't have them. But they did have turkey hot dogs on sale since it was close to expiration. They looked good and had no preservative and junk in them. So we bought them. Little did we know that it would cause a full blown argument with every cuss word in the alphabet thrown in.
S. and Mr. Joe tried to gang up on Mommy saying they weren't going to eat them and they were gross, knowing they've never had a turkey dog in their life. Then, that pissed Mommy off and she let it all out on both of them. She told them that they both crinkle their nose at almost every dinner and never even try the stuff. It sets a bad example for the kids and the kids never try new things either. Mr. Joe wouldn't let it go and they kept arguing as he was going outside to smoke. I thought it was over, but 15 minutes later, they started up again and they are now arguing downstairs. It is so ridiculous that all this was started over hot dogs. If you don't want to eat it, DON'T!!! It's that simple. Find something else to eat for dinner.
Now that it's off my chest, I feel much better.

Into the Swing of Things
We are done with our second week of school! All I can say is that it has been crazy. The good thing is that we get to leave 30 minutes early everyday in sociology. Our teacher is very nice, but strange. Math is really easy though. I got a 95% on my first quiz! So excited! The work for all of our classes is pretty easy, but a lot of it.
As for the dorm part of college, it has been great! Our roommate doesn't sleep in our room anymore and that's fine with me. She sleeps down stairs in some guy's room. We never see her in the morning before classes and by the time we get back, she has been here and left again.
Today, we're going to an Amish farmer's market with Mommy and idk who else. It should be neat! Love ya!

First Week of College- DONE!
We got through all of our classes with no problem. We took a quiz in Statistics on Thursday and I think I did great! Later that day, we went to Sociology and started taking notes. After about 30 minutes of notes, she stops the Powerpoint and says," That's it. You guys can go.". Everyone in class just looked at each other, but no one got up. We were so confused, so she repeated herself. We couldn't believe it. So we got up and left in shock. That class is going to be crazy!
Yesterday, Cath and I went shopping with Mommy for groceries and a new tv. The tv Mom-mom gave us didn't work and we only got 3 channels. Not fun. Now our tv is great with 90 channels. We had to go home to get our bathing suits. Those kids are too much. We got our Ashlyn and Austin fix for a few more weeks in the matter of 3 minutes. Once the hugging was over, the annoyance began. So we left really quickly. After we went shopping, we needed help with our groceries up 3 floors. When we get to our room, the door wasn't shut, so we knew so one was visiting our roommate. So awkward! They were just laying in bed with the lights out. Of course, all three of us were out of breath from the stairs which added to the awkwardness. We walked Mommy out and had to put all of our groceries away in the dark...until we turned the light on. I don't think they liked that, because they left shortly after.
For the rest of the afternoon, we worked on Biology homework. That class is going to make us work! I'm still not completely done with everything, but closer than I was yesterday. Today we're going to see Grammie and go see a movie on campus with Mommy. Love ya!

Easy Peasy Day 2
So we had 3 classes today and I was worried that they were gonna be super hard. But it was the complete opposite. We had art and sociology for 30 minutes each today because they let us go early! So what do we do with that free time? STUDY! And that's what we did. We did half of our math homework that isn't graded and read a little bit of our art book. I love having so much free time that I actually don't mind doing homework! So crazy! Art is going to be easy because it is an intro class and we've been taking art since 9th grade. So glad we'll have a lot of background info. Sociology, on the other hand, might be a little more challenging. Every week there is a group discussion for the whole class period which is 1 hour and 15 minutes about 3 questions. We'll see how that goes.
:Last night I woke up at 4 am with a horrible pain in my ribs. I was so scared that I wanted to wake up Cathy. Well her bed is chin level to me so when I walked over to her bed, we were face to face. I shook her and she jumped like never before! :) So funny! Of course I didn't know why my ribs were hurting so I made her stay up with me until I could fall asleep. I kept squeezing her hand through the bars in her bed. It eventually went away, but I have never been so scared in my life.
Now we just finished watching Glee :) Probably going to bed soon. Quiet in here since our roommate is never here at night, but that's fine with me. As long as she doesn't bring anyone back with her. Love ya!

Statistics in the Morning
We just back from our first statistics class and it was really easy. We actually took notes, but I kinda knew this stuff already even though I've never taken a statistics class before. I think it will tie in a lot with bio. We are done with our bio hw for tomorrow and we'll do math hw after art. One big plus is that our math hw is never collected or graded, just practice which I will need. I WILL do all of it anyway. :) Now it's time for art and sociology. Love ya!

First Day of Classes
Well, first day of one class. Today we had Bio at 9 am. We really didn't do anything except go over the syllabus. It was kinda funny because we went around the room introducing ourselves. I introduced myself, and said where I was from. Then Cath did the same and the prof was like, "Is there a reason you two have the same last name and are both from Salisbury?" Ugh isn't it obvious? lol Cath said, "We're twins." Then we got to talk with the people around us and it happened that the people across from us were cute guys. After class, we went to the commons and had lunch. Then we waited in the book pick-up line for 30 minutes for them to tell us that they aren't ready. Just great. We went back to our room and studied until the Telecom people came to fix our tv and phone. It took forever and they only fixed our phone. They said it was our tv that was the problem. So we will be on the look out for a new tv. But at least they told us what the problem was. Cath and I studied some more until dinner. Finally Cathy got her books and we went back to our room. Now we're watching Who wants to be a millionaire?. Hopefully tomorrow won't be too hard and I can finish my bio work. Gonna watch Bachelor Pad and message mommy throughout. lol We can watch it with her 15 miles away. Love ya!

Orientation is Too Much Fun!- not
For the last 3 days, we have done nothing, but team building sessions and seminars about college life and physical & mental health, and book discussions. But some of them were actually interesting. Thursday, we got to school at 6:15 and were unpacked by 9 am. It was not easy fixing the beds and making everything where we wanted it. We were so red afterwards between crying and sweating. After we go done we were bored so we waited until 10:30 for our room mate to move in. She brought a boatload of stuff. More stuff them us combined. But she seemed nice and her mom helped her move in. We had to leave for lunch and on our way to lunch, they had a lot of tables set up from businesses in the community. We got a sample of the McCafes and they were really good! Of course Cathy didn't like them, but I had hers too. After lunch we went to the class photo and met our orientation leader and group. We played those introduction games which I don't like, but it got worse. We sat in the grass for 1 1/2 hours and got a little sunburnt. Then we went to dinner and had a floor meeting. That was it for the night. We were so tired!
The next day was convocation and the book discussion for the summer reading. It wasn't really fun. The academic open house after was kinda interesting because we saw the different profs and what they specialized in. During lunch, we had a picnic and had the subject of the summer reading sign our books which was pretty cool. After lunch was suppose to be 3 more sessions, but it was only one for us. Instead of going to the 2nd & 3rd session, we left and went to Target. It's crazy how many little things we forgot. We dropped Mommy's car off and waited for her to get off work. Then, dinner. At 9pm we went to GUC After Dark, which was really fun. We got free Rita's ice and entered in a raffle. We also played bingo 3 times but didn't win anything :( But we met tons of new people and relaxed on a leather couch in the lounge. We went back to the dorm after 11pm. And we were out!
Today, we got up bright and early to see more seminars and sessions! YAY! The first sessions was really neat. It was our R.A.'s doing skits about college life. We went to lunch after the 2nd session and waited for 2 hours to take a survey...talk about a fun time. Two more sessions and we were done for the day. One thing about college is that people are a lot more free with the cussing. We went back to the dorm until 7pm when we saw the magician/comedian, Justin Kredible. It was HILARIOUS!!!! It was so much fun! Hopefully tomorrow will be just as fun since we don't have too many mandatory sessions.
